What will you see? India’s wildlife and birdlife is diverse most people think only of the tiger, but there are 14 other species of wildcat, elephants, gaur, jackal, hyena, wild dog, one horned rhino, monkeys, the list goes on, oh, and 1200 species of birds. Most wildlife itineraries focus Madhya Pradesh and the parks of Bandhavgarh and Kanha, and Pench, but there are other destinations in Madhya Pradesh to visit that are great for wildlife as well as other parts of India! Rajasthan has tiger reserves and areas which are great for leopards, Uttarakhand has Corbett National Park which has one of the highest bird counts in the country and Ladakh is becoming well known for its snow leopard population.

What else can be included? In Madhya Pradesh, we like to visit lesser known parks of Pench, Satpura and Panna. In Rajasthan, visit Jawai renowned for its leopard population & the desert National Park near Jaisalmer for desert fox and the great Indian Bustard. In Uttarakhand, Jim Corbett National Park has a wonderful wild elephant population as well as tigers and 590 species of birds and Ladakh has a healthy snow leopard population to name but a few.
